Banana Pops

Not being the biggest banana fan myself, this is one way I don't mind eating this super nutritious fruit.  Bananas are a great source of fibre and potassium.

Ingredients:

  • Several bananas
  • block of dark chocolate
  • ice block sticks or wooden/bamboo skewers

Toppings:

  • crushed nuts, crushed walnuts, goji berries, seeds, cinnamon

How to make:

  1. Peel and cut bananas in half and mount on an ice block stick or shortened wooden/bamboo skewer.

  2. Place in freezer in an airtight bag - skewers can be sticking out of one end.

  3. When the bananas are frozen, melt your desired amount of chocolate in a pan.

  4. Roll bananas in melted dark chocolate then sprinkle with your favourite topping combo such as nuts, seeds, cinnamon, goji berries.

  5. Place back in the freezer for the topping to set. When ready take out and ENJOY!.
